The cost of Travel Guard is $7.00 or $9.00 per day plus a one time $3.00 policy fee (when purchased in advance of your trip). In some cases the cost of the RCI (also referred to as CDW) can range depending on car type and location.

Coverage:
Rental Car Collision Damage Waiver Benefit - comprehensive up to $35,000! Comprehensive Collision Damage Benefit: Covers cost of repairs for collision or comprehensive damage to a rental car, up to the limit of coverage, for which the car rental contract holds you responsible. Not covered are obligations you assume under any agreement or acting in violation of your car rental agreement.
Pricing:
There are 2 different options to choose from; either $7.00/day which would provide $10,000 worth of coverage, or $9.00/day would provide $35,000 worth of coverage. Both have a deductible of $250.00
There is an additional one time processing fee of $3.00

Q. Qhat does the CDW cover?
A. The CDW covers the rented vehicle for collision, vandalism, fire, windstorm & hail. It does not cover liability. You may need to purchase additional insurance from the car rental agency if it is required. Please contact the care rental agency directly to discuuss their terms..
Q. Are my personal items in the car covered if they are stolen?
A. No. Coverage is only for the rental car.
Q. How do I file a claim?
A. Report all claims immediately by calling 1.800.826.4919. Please be sure to report all accidents to the local police and save copies of the police reports and all receipts.
Q. My rental car company says I can only purchase coverage through them.
A. Relax. If a car rental company refuses to allow you to use this coverage, please feel free to have them contact Traveguard directly for verification at 1-800-826-4919.
